Andy Reetz

CEO, General Manager

Andy Reetz brings over two decades of business and hospitality experience to Champions Run.  For the past 17 years he has been the General Manager/COO of Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln, NE. Under his leadership Hillcrest has seen a steady increase in membership growth thanks to the “Family Club” experience he has created.

He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska where he majored in business and was a walk on member of the Husker Football Team. Following his time at UNL he managed the newly opened Lazlo’s Brewery and Grill in Lincoln’s historic Haymarket serving both as the Kitchen and General Manager.

Andy has been married for 23 years to his lovely wife Leslie.  They have four boys, Jakson, Will, Drew and Garet.

Greg Neujahr

PGA Director of Golf

Greg has been a Golf Professional in the Omaha area since 1989 and a PGA member since 1992. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Greg was named the 2012 Golf Professional of the Year, has served as chairman on numerous committees and is a Past President of the Nebraska Section PGA. Greg started his first year at The Club in 2002 and has loved getting to know the membership and creating a fun and hospitable environment for all. He is enjoys playing, teaching and club fitting.  Providing excellent service is the number one goal for Greg and his staff of 6 PGA professionals. They look forward to providing first class events and service to all members and their guests!

Jon Moore 

PGA Head Golf Professional 

I have been a PGA Professional since 2010. Originally from Sidney Nebraska, I graduated from UNL and spent 8 summers 5 winters in Vail Colorado. I moved back to Nebraska in 2015 to work at Field Club of Omaha. I spent the last 6 years as the Head Golf Professional at Platteview Golf Club in Bellevue.

I married the love of my life, Alex, in 2016. We live in Gretna and have 3 beautiful children (Henley-5, Carter-3, Maryn-1). Spending time with family and friends is very important to us. We love to be outside playing in the backyard, walks to the park, and summer days at the pool.

I’m so happy to be apart of the team here at Champions Run. I look forward to getting to know the membership either through conversations in the golf shop, lessons on the range, or round of golf on the course.

Dawn Neujahr

PGA Golf Professional, Merchandiser

Dawn joined Champions Run in 2002. She has been a member of the PGA since 1996, has been awarded the Nebraska Section Merchandiser of the Year award seven times and is the 2017 Bill Strausbaugh award winner.  She was elected Secretary of the Nebraska Section PGA in 2017 and will rise through the ranks to be the first female President of the Section in 2022. Dawn has served the PGA of America nationally on the Member Benefits Committee and was selected one of fourteen professionals in the nation for the inaugural class of PGA LEAD, building leaders through diversity and inclusion. In addition to handling the merchandising for the Club she enjoys teaching, couples events, heading up the women’s golf activities as well as the Junior Links program, administration and instruction.

Mike Cornell

PGA Director of Golf Instruction

Mike Cornell joined Champions Run as Director of Instruction in 2012. He has been in the Nebraska Section of the PGA since 1977. Prior to joining Champions Run he was Director of Instruction at Oak Hill CC in Omaha. He is also currently Director of Golf for Back Tee Sports which does corporate golf other sporting events around the world. Mike has been 7-time teacher of the year in the Nebraska Section, named Best Teacher in the state by Golf Digest 6 times, Best Teacher in the region 3 times by Golf Magazine and the 2013 Golf Professional of the Year for the Nebraska Section PGA. He has instructed on a national level since 1985. His goal is to give the members and guests at Champions Run the opportunity, tools and skills to become a better player at all skill levels.

Brad Bailey

PGA Assistant Golf Professional

Brad Bailey joined the Champions Run Golf Staff in March of 2019 as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional. He has been a PGA Member since August of 2017 when he graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors in PGA Professional Golf Management and minor in business. Brad worked down in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at Old Marsh Golf Club for 2 winter seasons and during the summers worked at Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley Minnesota before joining Champions Run. Brad enjoys teaching all ages, as well as, getting out on the course and playing with the members and getting to know them.

Mitch Klooz

Assistant Professional/Player Development Director

Mitchell grew up playing golf from a very young age. He played collegiately for Liberty University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance. After graduation he transferred back to The University of Nebraska-Lincoln to play golf for the Huskers. He is excited to start his career in the golf business and being around the game he loves. Mitchell looks forward to teaching and spreading the love of the game to others.

Gabby Carollo

PGA Assistant Golf Professional & Assistant Merchandiser

Gabby is a dynamic PGA Assistant Golf Professional and Assistant Merchandiser at Champions Run. Holding a Bachelor's in PGA Professional Golf Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she passionately contributes to various facets of the club.

With three seasons at Champions Run, Gabby's roots as a Jr. Golfer and student of Mike Cornell showcase her deep connection to the club. Her role involves coaching the PGA Jr League, merchandising, coordinating ladies league events, and collaborating on couples events with Anthony. Gabby is dedicated to growing the game, actively promoting golf among women and youth, including her involvement in Clubs Fore Youth. As the manager behind the golf shop's Instagram, she keeps the community updated on merchandise and events, embodying the spirit of Champions Run both on and off the course.

Anthony Bianchi

Outside Services Manager

Anthony Bianchi is a dedicated professional in the final stages of the PGA Golf Management program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Currently an Outside Service Manager, he guides and mentors the bag staff, enjoys teaching golf.  Anthony values the camaraderie between departments at work and finds joy in connecting with club members through conversations and rounds of golf. With three years of internship and two years as an Assistant Golf Professional at Champions Run, Anthony brings five years of valuable experience to his role. He eagerly anticipates completing his PGA work to attain his PGA card.

Greg Jones

Director of Agronomy

Greg Jones joined the Champions Run staff in February of 2012 after spending five years as the Director of Agronomy for Montage Hotels in Laguna Beach, California. Originally from Western Nebraska, he is happy to be back in his home state. Greg graduated from Kansas State University with a Degree in Horticulture with a specialization in Golf Course Management. He is currently a Class “A” and has been a member of the GCSAA since 1999. Greg has earned the Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS) credential by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. CGCS is the most widely recognized professional designation in the golf industry and is the highest level of recognition that can be achieved. Greg is always working diligently to continually improve the conditions at Champions Run.

Jess Rolfes

Golf Course Superintendent

Jess grew up on his family farm in northeast Nebraska and moved to Omaha in 2001. He joined Champions Run in 2001 and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2007. He has a degree in landscape design, holds a Nebraska pesticide license and is a six year member of the GCSAA. He enjoys the opportunity of working outdoors and the variety of jobs that golf course maintenance has to offer.

Eric Fletcher

Golf Services Manager

Eric Fletcher came to Champions with several years of customer service experience. He started his journey as a banquet server, moving his way to the Cardroom staff before being promoted to the Golf Services Manager in 2017. Eric's passion for Champions and the members grows everyday he comes to work through his day to day experiences in the Cardroom and around the building. He looks forward to providing excellent service while enriching the experiences of each and every member for years to come.

Dijon “DJ” Ross

DJ has been promoted to Sous Chef. Prior to joining Champions Run he led Stone Creeks culinary team. Dijon’s leadership is very important to the success of our program as he is responsible for assisting both Banquets and Member Dining. In addition, DJ specializes in specialty diets and has recently created the new Sunday Brunch Menu.

Ryan Thorpe

Meet Ryan Thorpe, the culinary maestro who brings a touch of gourmet delight to your poolside experience. As an integral part of our culinary team, Ryan takes charge of the pool kitchen during the summer, crafting delicious items to elevate your leisurely moments by the water. Kayla Ryan

Director of Weddings & Banquets

Kayla joined the Champions staff in November of 2013. Originally from Lincoln, she received her Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012. Prior to joining the Champions staff Kayla worked as an Assistant Events Coordinator for a country club in Lincoln. She has a great devotion towards customer service allowing her to go above and beyond for each guest. Kayla’s love for weddings and events will always allow guests to have an unforgettable and everlasting experience.

Allison Boyd

Service Manager

Allison is very excited to be joining the Champions Run team.  As a native of Papillion, Nebraska, she is happy to be returning to the Omaha area as the Service Manager at Champions Run. Allison relocated to Lincoln to attend school and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  During college, she began working at Hillcrest Country Club, taking on various roles throughout the club.  Allison comes to us with more than ten years of experience in the club industry, including her most recent position as the Food and Beverage Director at Hillcrest Country Club.

Marne Maenner

Dining Room Manager

Marne has served in a multitude of roles at Champions Run.  As a recent grad of the University of Nebraska Omaha, Marne has been promoted to the Champions Run Dining Room Manager. She assists the training of our food and beverage staff and oversees the dining experiences of Champions Run

Jessica Cox

Accounts Payable - Office Manager

Jessica has worked at Chamipons Run since March of 2000.  She has been in the food industry since she was young between being a dishwasher, a bus girl, fry cook, bartender, and a server. Juggling multiple jobs at a time. After being at Champions Run for 20+ years she knows many aspects of the Club. Jessica is married to husband Don-Ray, 3 daughters Dana, Haley, Kendra. Two work  at the club as well.

Tammie Nolan

Tammie joined Champions Run in 2020. Tammie graduated from Cosmetology School and worked as a Cosmetologist for many years. She spent some years as a Stay at Home Mom and raised kids, while working with our Lawn Care business, and then later worked at Metro Community College as an Assistant Coordinator for the Continuing Education Program.
She's been married to my hard working and supportive husband, Mike for 20 years and have 3 wonderful children Rhyan (18), who is a UNO Dancer and a hostess at Champions Run, Dylan (16) is our talented artist, and Katie Nolan, our softball player and Show Choir Perfomer.

Chief Engineer

Troy is responsible for keeping Champions Run maintenance team operating on all cylinders. Troy joined the Champions Run team in 2017.

Pool and Events Assistant Manager 

Justin Kies is our Pool and Events Assistant Manager at Champions Run. Justin holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Nebraska Omaha.

With a versatile skill set and a passion for creating exceptional experiences, Justin takes on various responsibilities within the club. From overseeing pool management to assisting with dining room services and banquets, he ensures that every aspect of our members' experiences is seamless and enjoyable.

Keith, also known as SPIKE, has been at Champions Run for 8 years! He's worked at the pool, bartended, and most recently is an Assistant Manager, being a jack of all trades. He is a graduate from UNO.

Assistant Banquet Manager

Dana joined the Champions Run team in July of 2015 at the young age of 16. She has served many roles at Champions Run over the years, recently being promoted to Assistant Banquet Manager. Dana is a 2021 graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Science of Communications. Dana loves being apart of the amazing experiences at Champions Run and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Ben Lorenzen

Creative Director & Director of Aquatics & Fitness

Ben joined the Champions Run staff in March of 2014. In addition to directing the operations of the pool, snack bar, and fitness center, he also helps manage club activities and other duties. Ben has an extensive background in pool management, web and media design, and video production. Ben also runs the summer swim and dive teams and swim lesson programs.

Raychel Reed 

Marketing Manager 

Raychel joined the team at Champions Run in 2021 as a member of the fitness desk while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University of Fort Hays State. 
Driven by a passion for enhancing the member experience, Raychel's enthusiasm caught the attention of her colleagues. Inspired by the innovative marketing strategies employed by the organization, she seized the opportunity to work closely with Ben as an intern, focusing on social media and marketing initiatives.

Raychel was offered a full-time position at the beginning of 2023. With her elevated role, she now plays an integral part in ensuring that Champions Run continues to provide unparalleled services to its valued members.
